# Deprecation

PassEntry commits to maintaining backwards compatibility while evolving our API.

  Deprecated endpoints and parameters remain functional after deprecation, with continued bug fixes and no breaking changes.

## Notifications

We notify users of deprecations through:

* API documentation updates
* Email notifications (via newsletter or other communication channels)
* Changelog entries

## Identification

Deprecated features are marked with a "Deprecated" label in documentation with alternative suggestions.

## Migration

Whenever possible, please migrate to the non-deprecated endpoints and parameters.
Deprecated endpoints and parameters will be removed in a future version of the API. We recommend migrating to the replacement features as soon as possible.
